INVITATION AND GENERAL INFORMATION
Advances in polymer science and engineering continues to enable new
technologies of tremendous impact in nearly every facet of society. Born in
industry, polymer science remains closely tied to commercial opportunities
and today, rapidly expanding market forces for next generation plastics,
fibers, films and coatings; as well as new opportunities in sustainable
energy, renewable materials, biotechnology, electronics and photonics, environmental
technology, and communications serves as unprecedented innovation drivers.
This first of its kind conference invites industrial, government laboratory
and academic scientists, IP professionals,
entrepreneurs, and technology transfer specialists to present their short
and long term commercialization targeted innovations and opportunities in
polymer science. Sessions will include tutorials on technology transfer,
funding opportunities, and IP issues, as well as breakthrough technologies from global
experts around the world featuring polymer science solutions intended for
existing and future commercial products.
